Share Accounts
A $25.00 minimum balance in
this account is required to become a member of Family
Security Credit Union. This account is the cornerstone of membership
and provides member voting rights. Dividends are paid on a monthly
basis and free life savings insurance is included for eligible
members.
Checking Accounts
Our checking account features
no minimum balance, no monthly service charges, no per check
fees. Overdraft protection is available to prevent the return
of checks due to insufficient funds. Visa Check Cards are also
available with no monthly fee.
Give Me A Break Checking
This account is designed to help members with prior checking
account problems re-establish their checking account history. No
minimum balance is required. Members will be provided
a budgeting and financial management packet at account opening
along with a free consultation with our financial counselor. A
$10 per month service fee will be charged. Other standard
checking account fees will apply (NSF, Stop Payment, etc). Extended
holds will be placed on all check deposits (excluding Government
issued checks and recognizable payroll checks). Members
with a Give Me a Break Checking Account can apply for a free
checking account after 12 months in good standing (no NSF’s
or negative balances).
Senior Class Accounts
In addition to all the features
of our regular checking account, this account for members age
50 and older includes free checks, notary service, Travelers
Cheques, copy machine service, and invitations to special seminars
and events.
Club Accounts
Our club account is a great
way to save money for that vacation you've been wanting to take
or to have cash for the holidays. Deposits can be made anytime
you choose and you can withdraw your money anytime you're ready
with no penalties.
Blissful Beginnings Accounts
This account is designed especially for the engaged couple
and provides a unique addition to Bridal Registries and allows
family and friends to contribute monetary gifts for the couple. Family
Security provides announcement cards for shower or bridal invitations.
Family Security will contribute a $50.00 gift to the Blissful
Beginnings account once a copy of a valid marriage license
is presented.
Captain Buck$ Club
This club is available for
children 14 years of age and younger. It is designed to reward
them for learning to save for the future. Children receive Captain
Buck stamps for each deposit they make that can be redeemed for
special gifts at the credit union.
Daily Action Accounts
This account allows you to
earn higher rates of interest without tying up your money. A
minimum balance of $2,000 earns date-of-deposit to date-of-withdrawal
interest each month with no penalties. Up to six preauthorized
or check withdrawals per month are allowed with no more than
three of these by check.
Certificates of Deposit
Our certificate of deposit
account has a minimum balance of $1,000 and is offered for a
variety of terms to meet your needs. Interest is compounded monthly
on these high yielding accounts.

Both IRA share accounts and
certificates of deposit are available. Deposits are accepted
up to the maximum allowed by law each year.

your deduction posted to as many accounts as you wish.
