The Big Deal - Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser

Family Security was the lobby sponsor for the 3^rd Annual “Big Deal”  fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity for the Decatur/Morgan County area. The event was held Friday night , March 13th at The Magnolia Room in Decatur.  This event allows supporters to purchase tickets for $30.00 which is redeemed for $500.00 in play money.  The play money is then used to for play at the gaming tables. At the end of the evening the tickets are redeemed for an opportunity to win one of several prizes a total of eight people walked away with some great prizes!  

The event was expected to raise $16,000. I was honored to be the hostess for the lobby and I can tell you it was a full house!  Everyone enjoyed an evening of great food, fellowship and gaming events. The “Big Deal” event is the major fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity.  Habitat for Humanity assists families who otherwise would never be able to own their own home an opportunity to purchase their own homes at a lower cost.  I must say it was a huge success!
