Family Security Credit Union membership is available to individuals and businesses who live, work, worship, attend school or operate in the counties we serve across Alabama.
In addition, employees and retirees of Ruby Tuesday, Inc. and employees and retirees of the Compass Group family of companies, families of members, and organizations of such persons are also eligible for membership.

You can also apply for membership at a branch location near you.
If you live in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, or Georgia, Family Security Credit Union membership is available through the Alabama Consumer Council (ACC). The ACC is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to consumer advocacy, financial education and championing the rights of all consumers. Membership with the ACC is free and you can join at any Family Security branch location.
Most Family Security Credit Union branches are open Monday through Friday. Some branches are full service on Saturdays, while others only service the drive-thru. Please view a complete listing of our branches for operating hours.
Many Family Security Credit Union branches offer surcharge-free ATMs. In addition, you also have access to MoneyPass ATMs with nearly 30,000 surcharge-free across the U.S. Although, we are not a part of the Co-Op Shared ATM, you can access your account to withdraw funds during regular business hours of a Co-Op Shared Branch.

To change your address login to FSCU@HOME. Under Personal Settings, select “Edit Address,” or you may call us at (800) 239-5515 and a representative will assist you with the address change. You may also visit one of our convenient locations and a representative will be happy to personally assist you.
To change the name on your account, you must provide the proper ID-in person to a FSCU representative. Proper IDs include a state-issued driver’s license, state-issued non-driver’s license, U.S. Passport, Military ID, Voter ID card, or Permanent Resident card.
For a debit card, complete the Card Dispute Form with documentation to support the dispute. Return the form to your local Family Security Credit Union branch for processing, or you can fax the form to (256) 340-2024.
For credit card disputes, call us at (800) 239-5515, and a representative will assist you. You can also login to FSCU@HOME, access you credit card account, then complete and submit the Credit Card Dispute Form.
To participate in Direct Deposit, your employer will need Family Security Credit Union’s Transit Routing Number.

Your employer will also need your Family Security Credit Union account number, which is located at the bottom of your personal checks.

Some employers may require a copy of a voided personal check to begin the process.
Every Family Security Credit Union branch has a notary on staff. We also offer Medallion Stamps to members. Branch locations that provide Medallion service are Decatur-Main, Guntersville, Hartselle, and Mobile-Airport Blvd.
To wire funds to Family Security Credit Union, provide the financial institution with the following information:
- To: Corporate America Credit Union, Birmingham, AL ABA # 262090120
- For further credit to: Family Security Credit Union, ABA # 262284279
- For final credit to: (add member’s name, FSCU account number)
There is no fee for incoming wires.
To wire funds from Family Security Credit Union to another financial institution, please visit a branch location to start the transfer process.

All parties to be on the account must visit a Family Security Credit Union branch. You must bring a government issued ID for verification, and sign new signature cards.
Family Security Credit Union offers business accounts for several business types. Each business type has specific requirements to open an account. Please call us at (800) 239-5515 or visit a branch location near you for more information.
If you are a current Family Security Credit Union member, apply for a loan online through FSCU@HOME or visit your local branch. You must provide a government-issued photo ID, and in some cases proof of income.

You may login to FSCU@HOME, select Check Options and Request Copy of a Check, then submit the draft number you wish to receive. A Family Security Credit Union representative will contact you regarding your request.
